Plans have been approved for a new major office development in Ealing.

Proposals for the 170,000 sq ft Grade A office scheme were granted by Councillors on Wednesday, 18 January.

Developers CEG will invest £50 million on the scheme, which marks the first major office development in Ealing for almost 10 years.

Plans also include transport improvements and cycling upgrades, with demolition work set to begin in April.


Up to 2,300 jobs will be created by the project, including construction and permanent jobs.

Nick Lee, Head of Commercial Development at CEG, said: "Despite the Brexit uncertainty, we are confident that Ealing offers a fantastic investment opportunity, due to the arrival of Crossrail and the fact that it doesn't have the office stock to capitalise on the significant enquiries in the market place.

"Our proposals will deliver Ealing's first new Grade A office space in nearly a decade, enabling it to effectively compete with the West End as a prime business location."
