Services
EWL WaterJet operates a twin headed machine, with the capacity to cut sheets up to 3000mm x 2000mm x 200mm to a tolerance of 0.2mm depending on material thickness.

We operate using the latest CAD software to guarantee high accuracy profiles and the maximum utilisation of material via nesting. We can work from your DXF or DWG files supplied, or alternatively we can produce drawings for your approval.

Material can be supplied free issue or we can supply the material that meets your requirements.

EWL WaterJet also offers further services of CNC Bending, Welding and Fabrication, specialising in stainless steel and aluminium, please call us to discuss your requirements.



What is WaterJet?
At EWL WaterJet we operate two water cutting systems, "Pure Water" and "Abrasive."

Pure Water – is used on all soft materials such as foam, rubber and plastics, water is pressurised to approx 3600bar (52,000psi) and forced through a sapphire orifice creating a fine bead of water (0.1mm).

Abrasive – Garnet (very fine sand) is added to the pressurised water creating a Jet (1mm), an abrasive water jet that can cut through virtually any material.
