Type AB Air Gap Tanks (Cat 5)
GRP Type AB Airgap Break Tanks, Meets Current Backflow and Water regulations. Type AB Air gap provides a screened spillover letterbox opening above the water line, below the inlet that give the required airgap, suitable for Cat 5 fluid storage, this give the highest possible backflow protection for the supply to the tank.

Our Standard range goes from 45 litres (10 Gallons) upto 42,000 litres (9238 Gallons) under this approval
with our range continuing upto 120,000 litres (26396 Gallons) in our One Piece Tank Range
Bespoke custom size tanks are also available in any sizes, upto a max 12000mm Long, 3000mm Wide and 2500mm Tall.
All our approved tanks are Insulated with Foam Insulation encapsulated into the tank walls and tank lid, Tank are made from WRAS Approved Materials and manufactured to BS EN 13280 Standards. Ensuring Quality and suitability for Potable Water Storage.
Tank base can be Reinforced wooden encapsulated base if required as an option also available on all sizes.

Also Bespoke Tank Sizes upto 12m Long, upto 3m Wide and upto 2.5m High
Balance Tanks are Supplied insulated to help reduce heat loss of the water, the insulation is encapsulated into the tank wall and Additional Thickness of Insulation is also available.
Tanks Require a Flat Fully supported base for the tank to be sited on.
Tank are supplied with a bolted lid with a Square Access Hatch, The Bolted lid is an integral part of the tank and should not be removed when the tank contains liquid.
We can leave off insulation in connection positions at no extra cost, so the connections can be made through the structural wall and tightened securely and correctly.

Two Piece or Three Piece Tanks are designed so that a larger storage vessel can be put into a space where access is restricted by a doorway,
The tanks are split horizontally so each piece can be turned on its side to be carried through the doorway with ease and assembled thereafter in the space required,
