About Trackwork
From modest beginnings in 1976 Trackwork has undergone continuous steady growth to emerge as a significant contributor in the specialist railway engineering sector.
Job safety and client satisfaction are uppermost on Trackwork’s agenda and, to this end, the company offers an operation driven by a full Contractors Assurance Case and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management accreditation.
Trackwork is Link-up accredited and all our site staff and operatives are a minimum PTS (Personal Track Safety) certified.
Materials
Trackwork has always recognised the value of recycling railway materials both from an engineering and environmental point of view. The new 16.5 acres premises in Doncaster with 2,500,000 cu.ft of undercover storage means that a vast range of new and serviceable permanent way materials are always available from Stock.
From these extensive stocks Trackwork prefabricates complete turnouts, new or serviceable on timber or concrete bearers ready for inspection prior to dismantling for despatch.
All sections of rail can be cut, drilled, cold expanded for fishplates and ultrasonically tested.
As a major stockist of both new and serviceable railway sleepers/timbers Trackwork have in place procedures to comply with all EU Directives for the handling and disposal of timber sleepers and detailed instructions are provided to the user.
