Ryedale Plasterers Limited is a small family run business based in North Yorkshire. We have a national reputation for manufacturing and installing the very best traditional, contemporary domestic, and commercial plaster work. From plain or ornamental plastering to specialist historic restoration cornice work. Ryedale Plasterers Limited have worked on it all.

The business was set up 23 years ago by Matthew Windross who has built up a team of highly skilled craftsmen stretching back three generations.



We appreciate the importance of using traditional materials like lime haired plasters to maintain the authenticity of the building. Ryedale Plasterers is recognised as one of the leaders in our field for being able to take a damaged room and carefully restore it to its former glory, whilst causing the minimum amount of disturbance to the fabric of the building.

For centuries, craftsmen have created wonderful interiors using lime as the medium, a skill which unfortunately is being lost over time, resulting in a whole ceiling being removed where a skilled repair could be far more cost effective and preserve the original character of the building.



At Ryedale Plasterers we have a vast array of antique and modern moulds which when coupled with our skill base, enables us to create wonderful ornate embellishments, and to restore the original's authentically.

Our techniques used today mirror the skills of yesteryear and create a durable, ecological finish that outlast the 'quick fixes' that are associated with cement.
