About Kellaway Building Supplies Ltd
For both the DIY customer and the trade professional, Kellaway Building Supplies prides itself on being the first choice for service. With knowledgeable and friendly staff, we are proud of our reputation for providing a dedicated service to meet customer needs, a major benefit of being an independent builders merchant.
With over 9000 product lines available, all our branches offer a wide range of competitively priced materials, including plasterboard and plaster, timber, insulation, plumbing, tools, paint, ironmongery, heavyside building materials, landscaping and garden products plus much, much more.
We are the largest independent builders merchant in our home city of Bristol, expanding in more recent years, we now have 8 branches serving Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
At the end of 2006, we won our first national award for Best Customer Service by a Builder's Merchant at the Builder's Merchants Awards For Excellence repeated in 2007 by being a runner up. We are very keen to keep our unique relationship with our customers the way it is, and enhance this as we grow.

As a company delivering a dedicated standard of service, we offer a number of facilities which, when combined, make up an attractive package.

Building and do-it-yourself products in stock, or available by special order.
COLLECTION
Our branches vary in size and each operate slightly differently. For collection items, please ask a member of staff for assistance prior to loading your vehicle. Some branches operate a ticket system where the yard staff will issue you with a ticket and help load your vehicle.
This then leaves you free to browse the shop and take your ticket to the trade counter, which speeds up your service time.
If you’re after a product that isn’t in stock at a particular branch, we can locate it from another or order it in. Once located, you may prefer to collect it from another branch, or we can arrange delivery (subject to a delivery charge).
DELIVERY
We offer a delivery service capable of getting to most building sites – including those with difficult access – please advise us of any special access requirements when ordering.
When you place delivery order, we’ll ask when and where you require delivery and we’ll often offer advice and additional handy products you may have missed. We don’t do the hard sell however, we’re just here to help. We understand that 'time is money' in the building industry, which is why we’ll do our best to assist.
Our driver will call you prior to his delivery drop, and you can reiterate any specific delivery access requirements.
ACCOUNTS
We offer a cash and credit account facility to trade customers.
This consists of benefits such as

You can set up a reference or a password for each job that our trade counter staff will ask for, prior to booking out stock.
