Longden

Longden is a bespoke manufacturer specialising in interior solid timber doors and doorsets, combining traditional craftsmanship to meet today’s demanding technical and performance criteria.

The Longden range of solid timber panelled doors and doorsets have been gracing some of the UK’s finest buildings for well over a hundred years and are suitable for boutique hotels, exclusive homes and heritage and conservation applications.

Panelled Doors

The Longden range of panelled doors is classified into either raised and fielded panels (Chippendale and Copeland) or flat panels (Sheraton). Glazing can be used in place of any of the panels.

Boarded Doors

Longden also manufacture contemporary boarded doors in either a horizontal or vertical design. Beaded glazed apertures can be incorporated into the design by replacing any of the panels in the door with glass.

Glazed Doors

Glazed doors and doorsets are included within the Longden range, and can either be fully glazed, as in the Rivelin doorset, or by replacing any number of the panels in the door with glass to create the desired effect.

Performance characteristics include fire resistance up to FD60 and acoustic ratings of up to 38 RwdB. All fire-resisting products are manufactured under the intensive CERTIFIRE independent product conformity scheme. Longden has achieved BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 with strong quality and environmental policies in place as well as BS OHSAS 18001.
