Loft Masters

Possibly the worst company you could ever have dealings with. They are a duo, you meet Theo who comes across trustworthy then they leave you with the little man big bully Cos! Intimidates you, never finishes the work. Worst experience of my life. This company have made our lives an absolutely misery. They have taken the money approx £44K for a loft conversion which to date remains unfinished. The works that have been done so far does not meet building control standard and has therefore not been approved by the Building Control Inspectors, infact it is recommended that the structures should be taken down.

Despite much pleadings, distress, tears on my part and numerous promises and excuses on their part to complete the works we are still in the same position. I have repeatedly requested a refund in ordered to complete the work, to avail, Cos has taken to blocking my calls and telephone number and when I have used a different number he puts the phone down he refuses to have any form of communication with us. Two and a half years on, myself and 6 children (one being disabled) are still having to endure the upheavals and distress of our home being a building site surrounded by scaffolding which makes it insecure, not to mention the difficulties of getting in and out with a wheelchair as well as not being able to use the garden. The windows in the loft are leaking and the staircase are unsecured and has been left with no banisters making it very dangerous for the children. The opening to the loft was left with no form of enclosure and therefore left me with no options but to pay for it to be made safe.
I employed the services of this company in good faith that they would provide a good service in accordance with their advertisements and would fulfil their contractual obligations, however, this has been far from the case.
The experience with this company has left me absolutely lost for words and appalled that so called human beings can take such awful advantage of vulnerable families and get away with it.
I am not in the habit of leaving review comments, however, I feel compelled to try and save other people the sleepless nights, distress, misery and injustice that myself and family have had to endure at the hand of Cos under the banner of his company Loft Masters.
There isnt much that I can do to resolve my situation for now but I sincerely hope that the account of my experience will help others to avoid dealings with this company Loft Masters.

After using Loft Masters, both my husband and I were very pleased with their work and attention to detail. The guys who did our loft were very polite and worked very hard to ensure any disruption was kept to a minimum.

The project was managed throughout with care and respect for both our house and us and ensured both our concerns were explained and wishes were carried out to a high standard.

I would highly recommend using Loft Masters if you are considering a loft conversion.
