Specialist Surfacing Ltd was established in October 1982 by Derrick Hunt and is part of a group of companies within The Hunt Group Ltd.

The quality of our work is of high importance and we have held the quality system accreditation since 1995. Our highly skilled and motivated workforce have enabled us to maintain the accreditation and we are currently certified to IS0 9001-2000. We are also in the process of being accredited with Sector 16.



We are specialist contractors in surfacing and resurfacing roads, highways, car parks, industrial estates, footways, drives and sports surfaces.

We are an established contractor in the north of England with over 25 years experience working closely with a number of local authorities as well as major contractors nationwide.

The company is highly regarded for the consistency and quality of its services by several national organisations, employing over 40 staff at our depot at Scunthorpe. Specialist Surfacing Limited is a mature company, which is continually expanding to meet the requirements of local authorities and major contractors in the field of macadam surfacing.
