Drop Forged
The range of Presco drop forged couplers is the result of meticulous research into distortion points and areas of strain under stress. The products have grain flow which is controlled to put the strength directly where it is needed to provide tremendous resistance to distortion, enhanced durability and the long term economy users expect from Presco.
Ancillary
Presco Scaffolding ancillaries are manufactured to the same high standards as our acclaimed range of scaffold couplers. All products meet the stringent demands of the construction industry for long-term, safe, efficient and cost-effective performance.
Safety
Safety on the construction site is paramount and nowhere is personnel protection more important than on the scaffolding - for erectors and users alike. Presco scaffolding safety equipment provides maximum safeguards against many potential hazards giving site personnel the greatest possible level of confidence.
1) Landing Disc
This item is for attaching to a down stand tube to provide safe platform when working off shore such as scaffolding projects on oil rigs etc. It is slightly domed to allow water to run off the surface and is none slip. Attached with a bolt and a check fitting on site. Far safer than standing on a small horizontal tube butt which is standard practice.
2) Safe Scaffold Bolt fitting
Used where a protruding bolt head could cause a snag issue with clothing or equipment. Ideal for walkways near ladders and gates etc. Performs the same as a normal fitting and used in the same way. Available as a double and swivel with one or both sides fitted with the safe bolt
3) Special fittings
Used when attaching unequal tube sizes together, here are some typical on site requirements
a) such as prop outer 60.3 dia to standard tube
b) 75 dia tube to standard tube,
c) system ledger 38mm to standard tube.
d) aluminium tower bracing 50mm dia to standard tube
4) Ladder clamp
Used when attaching steel section ladders to scaffolding. This is the recommended method of safe practice rather than using a single or wrapover which are not designed for this purpose and could fail when used this way.
5) Toe Board Clamp
Used when attaching a toe board to a scaffold platform deck. This is the recommended method of safe practice rather than using a single or wrapover which they are not designed for this purpose and could fail when used this way
Transom
The Presco Transom range allows quick erection of scaffolding, reducing labour costs and providing instant platform width extension without the need for hop-up brackets.
