Housing developments
We are one of the most experienced landscape architects working on housing developments throughout England and have established excellent working relationships with major developers as well as local authorities.

Our involvement can often start prior to land acquisition, through landscape assessment to tree surveys, detailed planting and hard landscape design, to the production of contract documentation and administration of the works on site.



Business Parks
We have been involved in all aspects of business park landscape design, from the initial strategic planning through to the production of detailed hard and soft works proposals for prestigious offices.

We have recently been engaged to provide design advice and technical expertise on Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (S.U.D.S.)

Japanese Knotweed
Expert help for a serious problem.

Popplewell Associates has both practical experience and technical expertise in dealing with the threat of Japanese Knotweed. This pervasive weed can be a major problem for developers and can cause serious complications and delays if not treated correctly.

Environmental Assessment
Popplewell Associates have contributed to several Environmental Assessments for highways schemes and retirement villages. In addition our landscape assessment expertise has been utilised on mixed use developments and projects as diverse as housing, quarries and hotels working for both local authorities and private developers.



CAD & Technology
We have the latest AutoCAD and Photoshop based design software that, combined with facilities for desktop publishing and graphic editing, enables us to produce quality images and documents.

Our systems are compatible with most common formats used by architects and engineers, and the Internet allows drawings to be passed between consultants and clients on the same day. We are committed to developing our technological capabilities in order to continue to deliver a high quality product.
