On The Level - Who Are We?
With over 30 years' experience in the wet floor shower sector, we are a market leader in the manufacture of concealed underfloor trays, or formers, for wet room installations. Our unique, patented product is made in Britain, to stringent quality control standards and offers ultimate flexibility as we are the only manufacturer in the UK to produce bespoke formers in any shape or size. Our Company founder and Managing Director, Phil Clark, first began creating wet rooms for local councils 30 years ago and it was this experience that led Phil to invent and patent our shower former.
We supply a wide range of projects for commercial, residential and public sectors, from luxury hotel developments through to specialist solutions for sports clubs and prisons. We offer a complete design and manufacturing service, including problem solving for our customers and creating unique solutions and, because we carry out the work ourselves in our UK factory, we have full control control of the manufacturing process and we are in the unique position of being able to offer a bespoke service and ensure that all orders are produced to the highest quality and delivered to the door as quickly as possible.
Our easy-to-install underfloor shower trays are available in a choice of eight standard stock sizes, or bespoke options in any size or shape. The trays are precision engineered in 24mm Birch ply and this wood construction means the trays are light and easy to handle and can be readily shaped on site and screwed into position. The trays are only 24mm deep, making them ideal for 1st floor installations as they will fit flush into timber floors, but they are supplied ready to lay onto any floor including timber, concrete and floating floors. The trays also provide support around the drainage system under the floor and add strength. The trays are guaranteed for 25 years and the Birch used for all On The Level products is backed by a PEFC comprehensive certificate.
On The Level offers a complete package containing everything you need to create a stylish wet room - waterproofing (tanking) kit, underfloor tray, drain gully, an attractive choice of floor gratings in different finishes, underfloor heating, toughened clear or sandblasted glass shower screens in a wide range of styles and sizes, plus a choice of showers.
Our technical helpline can provide support and advice to architects, builders, surveyors, or anyone embarking on a wet room project and there is also the option of a design service. which gives the designer, architect and developer maximum versatility when designing showering areas.
Linear Drain for Wet Rooms
Unlike conventional wet floors with smaller, square drains, the sleek, oblong Linear design means that the tile does not have to be mitred in order to achieve the fall to the drain. The Linear drain is perfect for the current trend for large format tiles as minimal cutting is required for the tile to fit around the drain and still achieve the gentle slope required, plus there are fewer grout lines making the floor tiles quicker to install and easier to clean.
The complete assembly is made in the UK, allowing full control of the manufacturing process and ensuring exceptional high standards of workmanship. To ensure that the drainage is adequately specified, there is a choice of five drainage systems to suit the tray size and shower flow rate. The Linear drain is manufactured in 5 standard sizes: 300mm / 700mm / 800mm / 900mm / 1000mm to combine with 18 standard sizes of shower tray, and bespoke sizes are available. In addition, we can also produce drains in any length and with multiple outlets if required to handle a greater volume of water. There are six designs of grating available manufactured from stainless steel with a polished surface to achieve the perfect finishing touch to this practical, contemporary and highly attractive wet floor. In addition, a Linear drain is available with the option of a tile insert instead of the usual stainless steel grating.

Our complete flooring system is a made to measure interlocking flooring system stretching out across the entire room. The Complete Flooring System incorporates a bespoke showering area with a choice of waste position compatible with most types of floor construction, including suspended timber floors, TJI joists, cassette, block and beam and many other types of floor construction. The Complete Flooring System is ideal for wet rooms in new build, pod modules, renovations, sports clubs, hotels, residential homes, local authority property, etc. All boards are installed using a double tongue and groove joint. Can be ordered in singles or bulk.
