Oil Pollution Environmental Control ltd is a UK based Company that was formed in 1980 to continue with the development and to capitalise on previous developments of specialist oil skimmer devices, namely mop skimmers which had been produced over the previous four years by the individuals who later became closely associated with the Company.

Oil Pollution Recovery
Oil Pollution Recovery is a term used for products which remove oil from a polluted area. This could be in a tank, pond, lagoon, at sea in a harbour or down a drain. Over the years OPEC has specialized in these technologies and can offer a full range of products for permanent static installations, emergency spill response (mobile units) that can recover small to very large quantities of oil pollution.

Oil Pollution Containment
In most cases the first stage in oil pollution recovery is containment. OPEC offers an extensive range of 'oil booms' and other flexible products for oil spill containment or floating debris. Other flexible products include a temporary oil/water separator, temporary bunds and storage tanks.

OPEC also offer oil storage tanks available in mild steel, stainless steel and GRP of various shapes and sizes. From 1000 – 10000 litres and above if required.
