Scandia have been designing and manufacturing panels, doors and accessories for the temperature controlled environment for over three decades. Scandia has been based at its purpose built production plant in Clacton-on-Sea since 1998. Scandia employs twenty six staff who are divided into the design team, production, fully trained installers, warehouse distributors, delivery drivers as well as a network of professional subcontractors.

Our experience and technical resources have enabled us to create a range of thermally efficient panel systems to satisfy both new low temperature legislation and EEC hygiene regulations. Our fully trained personnel have many years experience in the construction of cold rooms and cold stores.

Coldrooms Multi compartment rooms for individual temperature control and product separation. Scandia coldrooms are designed for keeping all foodstuffs at the correct temperature in a foodsafe environment. From +5c for fruits and vegetables down through +4c for game, +2c for general storage to 0/-2c for meats and fish, -18/-25c for frozen storage.

Doors Scandia offer a range of doors, from personal access to Rapid Roll, Fire Rated, Hinged and Sliding doors, each individually tailored to meet your requirements. All Scandia doors are suitable for all applications where hygiene, temperature control and reliability are of paramount importance. Typically our doors are used on coldrooms, freezers, chillers, food processing areas, and food preparation areas.

Scandia Design Scandia emphasises the importance of the design process for our customers' installations and has significantly invested into achieving a bespoke technical selection, quotation, design and custom manufacturing software system. Working with Computair, who for 23 years have been the world's leading supplier in this field to design a unique programme.

Flashing Scandia specialises in the manufacturing of foodsafe laminate flashings for use in the food processing industry and other temperature controlled environments. Scandia can make to order virtually all applications either internal or external.

Refrigerated Trailers Scandia Refrigerated Trailers are made using Ifor Williams Trailers who pride themselves on quality, strength, value and ease of maintenance. High strength and durability are essential requirements for this type of product and Ifor Williams have always considered this as the mainstay of their design policy.
