L J Millar Building Contracting was founded in 1976 by the late Leslie Joseph Millar. Leslie was brought up in a hard working family farm, but after leaving school he took a keen interest in Joinery and Construction.

Soon after Leslie had served his time he started contracting, setting a high standard of quality workmanship, taking on work in both the Public and Private Sectors, and building good relationships everywhere he went. In 1999 Leslie renamed the Business L J Millar & Sons with the coming on board of his sons, Jonathan, Stephen and Lee.


In today’s market we offer a complete building contracting service and along side this we have a bespoke Joinery workshop. Today we pride ourselves on keeping the high quality service and relationships going just as our father had set for years.
