About Doors and Shutters
Founded in 1989, dp doors & shutters Ltd have many years experience in the sourcing, supply and installation of doors for many industrial applications, either in new build, refurbishment or building alteration situations. We offer roller shutter doors, fast action doors and much more.
Our Products
dp Doors & Shutters was started by 2 people. It now operates from a 10,000 sq feet factory unit employing 27 people. We supply, install and maintain a wide range of industrial doors shutters and grilles to the whole of the UK.
Our business can be divided into the following three categories, Door Repairs, Preventative Maintenance and New Door Installation.
Whilst we always endeavor to offer our own staff for all on site work, we appreciate that there will often be the need to respond on an urgent basis. Over the years we have built up a portfolio of nation wide and competent labour only sub contractors who can attend to site the same day as call-out.
All doors were originally sourced from a variety of manufacturers, and whilst this is still the case for most of our products, all roller shutter doors are manufactured in-house at our factory in Sheffield. We manufacture a range of roller shutter doors both single skin and insulated. Our Roller shutters can be finished galvanised, standard Plastisol or powder coat to a standard RAL or BS colour.
We can offer either manually operated by haul chain, and self coiling or electrically by 3 or single phase motors. In all cases, our electrically operated options are direct drive eliminating the need for internal springs which add unnecessary weight to the shutter and create extra possibility of component failure.
We are an ISO 9001:2000 registerd Company and are full members of the Doors & Hardware Federation (DHF).
Our customers range from high street shops to International airports, blue chip manufacturing companies and major construction companies.

| In House Manufacturing Here at dp Doors & Shutters Ltd we have our own In House Manufacturing teams. This allows our teams to control the quality and expertise that goes into every product from start to finish. Giving our customers full satisfaction during the production process of their final delivered products. | Health & Safety Here at dp Doors & Shutters we employ our own Health & Safety consultant. Their role is to liase with customers to confirm their H&S requirements for on site working and to enforce our own basic requirements and standards within our own teams of engineers. |
