McCanns Concrete Products Ltd. has been manufacturing precast concrete products since 1965. The business is still family owned and since being set up, has continued to invest in state of the art machinery, producing high quality products to the highest standard.

Over the years, the number of products has increased and the company has grown significantly. McCanns range extends to over 150 lines. We are always looking at new products and developing new concepts, our most recent being the development of double steps in our manhole rings to the new European standard BS EN 1917. We cater for customers throughout Ireland, ranging from private builders to the larger multi national construction companies.

Gerry McCann, founder of the company, always works on the principle, that to be successful you have to prioritise the customer and win their loyalty by providing exceptional service and quality.

Concrete Products

Kerbs
We currently produce a wide range of concrete kerbs. These include 600mm and 375mm dwarf wall kerbs which are pictured. Other kerbs include 150 x 50 – flat and round top, 150 x 75, 200 x 100 and 250 x 125.

Water Channels
Manufacture a variety of water channels. These include dished channels as well as the slotted type. We have recently starting making new open channels which include a steel grating. Pictures above are our full range of channels.

Cattle Drinkers
We currently manufacture concrete Cattle drinkers for the farming industry. Currently we have 4 different types which include the standard single and double drinkers (pictured). As well as this we have recently starting producing 40 gallon and 75 gallon drinkers to cater for the larger farms. These are designed in such a way to eradicate the risk of breaking or cracking during severe winter weather.

Concrete Lintels
We manufacture a wide variety of Pre- Cast and Pre-Stressed concrete lintels. Our range includes 140 x 100 (6×4) 215 x 100 (9×4) which are most commonly used in new builds. We also manufacture 140 x 100 (6×4) 215 x 100 (9×4) in Pre- Stressed lintels.

Fire Hydrant Boxes
We have been manufacturing fire hydrant boxes for the water mains industry since the company began. Our boxes are easy to handle, coming in two different section sizes and three different heights. To compliment our boxes we also manufacture water marker posts to help identify what valves or water mains are underground.

We have been manufacturing fire hydrant chambers for the water mains industry since the company began. Our chambers are easy to handle, coming in two different section sizes and three different heights. To compliment our chambers we also manufacture water main posts to help identify where a water mains is underground.
