For nearly 80 years G&M TEX Ltd has designed, manufactured, tested, installed, commissioned and supported power generation equipment for Industrial, Marine and Military applications worldwide. Our experienced team work alongside our clients and their advisors to produce bespoke solutions to meet the most exacting requirements.

As an independent manufacturing business we maintain strategic relationships with a range of engine and alternator manufacturers which enables our team of design engineers to offer our clients the most technically compliant solution to meet their specifications. Our objective is to seek that our clients operational and performance objectives are achieved both as efficiently and as economically as possible, whilst ensuring conformance with test and installation requirements.

Our products are in use in hospitals, airports, museums, mainline railways, data centres, national grid substations, water authority pumping stations and telecom sites, to name but a few land based applications. In addition we produce solutions for Superyacht, military and commercial vessel manufacturers. The specific skills learned in these two sectors often merge to produce industrial solutions with a marine bias for applications including offshore wind farms and dockside operations.

Operating from industrial premises in Suffolk we undertake the full process from design, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing and finishing generators to project managing their delivery, installation and commissioning.

Our internal systems and processes are continuously monitored by external auditors acting for organisations including Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance, Network Rail Link Up, Achilles UVDB, as well as numerous independent inspection authorities and project Consultants. This focus has resulted being accredited by LRQA as achieving ISO9001:2008 Quality Assurance certification and also ISO14001:2004 Environmental certification.

In addition to our membership of AMPS, we are also members of the British Marine Federation, Construction Line, Utilities Vendor Database and Link Up. We also offer type approved products for Network Rail and The National Grid.
