Tunnel Formwork
Special Formwork has designed and supplied forms for a range of different tunnel and shaft lining projects, including for the London Cable Tunnels, Crossrail, London Underground, Welsh Water, Amsterdam Metro, and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

Sea Defence Formwork
Special Formwork has manufactured a wide range of solutions for sea defences around the UK coastline. Sea defence structures include Recurved Wave Walls – in situ and pre-cast, stepped revetments, and very large mass concrete structures – including a hydraulically operated travelling formwork system.

Wall Formwork
Steel Formwork is a cost-effective alternative method for constructing walls when there are a high number of repeat uses. They’re also suitable for special architectural constraints limiting the number and position of form joints and tie locations. Steel formwork is particularly suitable for curved structures, or where tall pours produce high concrete pressure.

Flexible Windfarm Formwork
You can use flexible shutters for circular applications to form any diameter upwards of 3 metres. They are ideal for constructing circular turbine bases are lightweight and have a high re-use factor. We can supply make-up panels to form exactly the diameter required

Rigid Wind Farm Shutters
Rigid shutters for Wind Farms are purpose made for each job and are ideal for high repetition or difficult shapes.
Special formwork has designed and manufactured Circular, Octagonal and spider shapes. Purpose made Access platforms can be supplied when required.
