Services
Avondale has been active in vegetation control for over twenty years and has always sought to provide ecologically sound solutions. We will never compromise on the quality of the works delivered.
We only employ PAYE staff who are supported by a central administration team and lead by strong management.
All operational staff work from fully equipped welfare vans including toilets, kitchens and washing facilities making them entirely self sufficient.
Equipment
We have an in-house technical department whose staff includes a Logistics Manager and a qualified workshop / mobile mechanic who operate a 24/7 mobile call out response service to ensure vehicle and equipment failures are rectified immediately, with little or no loss of productivity and repair costs kept to a minimum.
The department also manages the maintenance of, or maintains in house, all the vehicles and equipment against the maintenance schedules required by each item.
In addition each field supervisor has experience in maintaining and repairing vehicles / equipment on site therefore only needing to call out the mechanic if repairs cannot be completed or issues resolved locally.
Should any equipment not be repairable and / or useable the supervisor and / or the technical department will arrange for a replacement either from in house or from an approved supplier.

Avondale was established as an arboricultural company in 1992 by the current owner and managing director Andrew Back and incorporated in 1994. For the next 8 years our core business was grounds maintenance and tree works for local authorities and housing associations. Since then we have provided a range of land and vegetation management solutions including for high risk industries such as the rail, construction and highways infrastructure.
