About The Air Conditioning Agency
Welcome to The Air Conditioning Agency - your one stop shop for all your air conditioning needs.
The Air Conditioning Agency is a freelance distribution agency (Established 1993), where you can source the best range of mobile and easifit products.
We specialise in mobile air conditioners and we are experts in the fields of light commercial and industrial dehumidifiers, heaters and air cleaners.
Mobile Air Conditioning Units
Monobloc (self contained system for small areas)
Monoblocs are the most popular type of mobile air conditioner for small offices and home use. They work with an exhaust hose that dissipates the heat in a similar manner to a tumble dryer.
Monoblocs conveniently wheel around from room to room where you need cooling the most, and need to be situated near to a window that preferably opens at around hip height.
Twin hose monoblocs are becoming popular. These draw condenser air in from the outside through one hose and then exhaust the rejected heat through the other. The consequence of this is that a vacuum is not drawn on the room, and this allows the air conditioning effect to be more dramatic.
Split system (suitable for larger areas)
Split system mobile air conditioners are more suitable for larger areas as the heat is dissipated not via a large air hose put through an open window, but through an outdoor condenser section. This is connected to the indoor unit by refrigeration pipes that are considerably thinner, so even when the condenser section is hung out of a window the room can be virtually sealed making the unit more effective.
Easi-Fit ''All-in-One'' Systems
Our Easi-Fit Climatrol ''All-in-One'' systems only require a small amount of building work to be fully installed, and providing they are selected and sized correctly they will offer a totally effective and economical solution to your room air conditioning and heating needs.
Easi-Fit systems require two small vents through and external wall, a small hole for condensation removal, and on our size 7 model a hole to introduce fresh air as well.
At a glance, two discreet grilles will be the only external evidence that air conditioning is installed.
Easi-Fit systems can be connected to a standard 13 amp electrical supply, and are ideal for small conservatories, offices, prefabricated buildings and hotel bedrooms.
They are also a boon for conservation areas where unsightly condensers cannot be installed due to planning restrictions.
Cost savings will be substantial over more established fixed alternatives, and this puts proper and effective heat pump air conditioning within reach of most pockets.
Easi-Fit systems are user friendly, reliable, reasonably quiet and very effective!
Through Wall/Window Units
An ideal way to cool or heat a room in your home is by using a Through Wall/Window type air conditioner. These need to be installed by a builder as they fit into a large hole through an outside wall, or sometimes through a window.
This type of system is a very established alternative in the America, and you will often see units poking out of windows on TV programmes such as ''Friends'' or ''Cheers''.
