What makes us different?
Cook Group Ltd are based in Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire and have been trading since 1974.
We are a specialist waterproofing and Ground Gas Protection installation company and we operate on a national basis. We have our own CSSW qualified in-house design team, NVQ2 qualified technicians and offer a full installation service.
We work with all the major manufacturers and can assist you with anything from a complicated split level commercial basement to installing Ground Gas Protection on housing plots.

Combined waterproofing and gas protection | It’s all in the detail
We are one of only a few installers in the UK who are fully qualified and insured to carry out combined Ground gas protection and Structural Waterproofing installations.
Although waterproofing and gas protection seem similar, the specification and application can vary greatly when considering them in combination.
The design team have to consider the implications of both BS 8102:2022, BS 8485:2015 +A1 2019 and for Hydrocarbon sites (also known as VOC’s – Volatile Organic Compounds) we have to consider documents such as Ciria document C748.
We work closely with manufacturers, architects, and detail designers to ensure the most suitable and robust details are specified and installed whilst offering best value to our clients.
We have NVQ Level 2 Qualified operatives in both fields.
Our inhouse CSSW qualified design team have over 60 years’ experience in the industry.
Structural Waterproofing
We design and install all types of waterproofing systems; A, B and C as per BS8102:2022
What types of waterproofing?
All of our designs and installations are to NHBC and LABC warranty standards. 10 Year waterproofing guarantee and Insurance backed guarantees are available. Lift Pits, Service Pits, retaining walls, stepped foundations – all elements of below ground waterproofing.
