Southern Crusher Spares & Sales Ltd started trading in 2007 supplying quality crusher spares to Irish Quarry owners at competitive price. Now with our new 8000sqft warehouse in Ruan Co Clare we are now more than ever capable of delivering quality and value to our customers.

Prior to Brexit, the Southern Crusher Spares supply route was through the UK.

Since Brexit each shipment has incurred a €80 charge from the freight companies for customs clearance, the cost of shipping a mid-size Jaw from the UK is approx €200-€250, resulting in total shipping cost of approximately €300. We decided that our supply chain model needed to change.

We now ship full containers loads direct to our warehouse here in Ireland, reducing our cost of shipping a pallet anywhere within Ireland to less than €100. This gives our customers a net saving of €200 per pallet. This €200 saving gives S.C.S. a huge advantage when competing with UK suppliers.
