Danaher & Walsh was founded in 1969 in Leicester. We have since grown steadily, earning an enviable reputation within the construction industry.

Our civil engineering contracting division’s areas of specialism include highways and surfacing, Section 278 works, drainage, infrastructure, bridges, public realm works, groundworks, car park construction and much more.

Our highways team is vastly experienced in the construction and improvement of roads to local authority and Highways Agency adoptable standards. From a dropped kerb to the installation of traffic signals to the complete remodelling of a roundabout, we have the knowledge and experience to deliver projects on time, in budget and with minimum disruption. We aim to be the contractor of choice for Section 278 and Section 38 agreements in the Midlands.

As an Anglian Water framework contractor for many years, our experience in the construction and maintenance of storm and foul drainage and sewers is enviable. As well as constructing drainage systems and sewers for new developments, we have carried out major schemes of flood alleviation works.

Bridge construction, installation, maintenance and repair is carried out by our skilled team, who have years of experience working with footbridges, road bridges, railway bridges, canal and river bridges.

We also carry out general infrastructure work to the highest standards, including reinforced concrete structures, retaining walls, headwalls, hard standings, ducting and much more.

We also have a great track record of carrying out public realm, hard landscaping and soft landscaping works for parks, sports centres, university campuses and town squares.
