About Green Heat
Throughout Europe, underfloor heating and cooling is becoming the preferred means of temperature control in all types of buildings. With underfloor heating, you can create clean and peaceful environments which are healthy and spacious, enjoying the pleasure of consistent all-round warmth which starts at your feet.
Reduced running costs and very low maintenance make it as practical as it is pleasurable.
Wet underfloor heating is achieved by the circulation of warm or cool water through pipework embedded in the floor slab or cavity, using a boiler in the winter for heating, or a chiller in the summer for cooling.
Traditional radiator style heating results in the heat rising up around the extremities of the room and then circulating around the ceiling, leaving you with a warm head and cold body and feet. Underfloor heating has the opposite, and more comfortable, effect of warm feet and body with a cooler head.
Electrical underfloor heating is a simple, cost effective alternative for renovations and buildings where it is not practical to retrofit the plumbing required for wet underfloor heating. It is suitable for all room types and sizes and works well with all floor types. Installed and controlled correctly, heating a 3m2 bathroom floor for up to 4 hours a day can cost as little as 10p.
Heat output of up to 200watts/m²
Suitable for all floor types
Overlay with most types of floor covering
Simple to installation
Cost effective installation and running
Can be installed to supplement an existing heating system
Ambitak underfloor heating screeded floors - tacker system
The underfloor heating installation will be designed and installed by specialist underfloor heating contractor with no joins in the pipework under the floor. The system will comprise of 17mm Ambiente underfloor heating pipe with integral oxygen barrier and a 2mm wall thickness, secured to 'x'mm thick laminated Ambiente insulation panels laid on a concrete sub floor. Pipe to terminate at Ambiente underfloor heating manifold assembly complete with pumps, mixing valves, drain and fill points, air vents etc. at pre-arranged locations shown on drawings. The system is to be filled and pressure tested upon completion and left pressurised during screeding. Room thermostats, wiring centre and thermoelectric actuators are provided, the underfloor heating installation terminates at valved manifold connections; others to make appropriate connections from this point.
Ambiclip underfloor heating screeded floors - cliprail system
The underfloor heating installation will be designed and installed by specialist underfloor heating contractor with no joins in the pipework under the floor. The system will comprise of 17mm Ambiente underfloor heating pipe with integral oxygen barrier and a 2mm wall thickness, secured in plastic cliprails which are stapled to insulation laid on a concrete sub floor.
Ambiplate underfloor heating timber floors - plated system
The underfloor heating installation will be designed and installed by specialist underfloor heating contractor with no joins in the pipework under the floor. The system will comprise of 17mm Ambiente underfloor heating pipe with integral oxygen barrier and a 2mm wall thickness, clipped alluminium diffusion plates 1.25mtrs long and designed to fit between 400mm centre joists. Plates are manufactured from grade 15A alimimium sheet. Pipework to terminate at Ambiente underfloor heating manifold assembly complete with pumps, mixing valves, drain and fill points, air vents etc. at pre-arranged locations shown on drawings. The system is to be filled and pressure tested upon completion and left pressurised during screeding.
