Air tightness testing is a recognised method of measuring the extent to which air is lost through leaks in the building fabric. It is sometimes referred to as air leakage testing or air pressure testing... Too much air leakage leads to unnecessary heat loss and discomfort for the occupants.

We are a Elm Hurst accredited OCDEA for Sap Calculation for your new Build Dwelling, Providing you with a fast and efficient service and can produce EPC’s at the end of your build.
SAP is the Government’s ‘Standard Assessment Procedure’ for Energy Rating of Dwellings. SAP 2012 (and updates) is adopted by government as part of the UK national methodology for calculation of the energy performance of buildings. It is used to demonstrate compliance with building regulations for dwellings – Part L (England and Wales), Section 6 (Scotland) and Part F (Northern Ireland) – and to provide energy ratings for dwellings. Design and As Built SAP Calculations for UK’s first amphibious house.
Our service includes advising our clients on how best you can comply with the regulations. We try to advise on cost and energy saving options that are available. Alterations are free of charge and our SAP assessors will also liaise with Building Control Officers.
Extractor Fan Testing
Providing Extractor fan flow rate testing to meet the requirements of the Approved Document to Part F of the Building Regulations 2010. Part F Building Regulations also requires standard intermittent extractor fans in new buildings (such as bathroom and kitchen extractors) to have their air flow rates measured and the results submitted to the building control in most areas.
