Durable Epoxy Flooring
ACC Flooring recently visited one of our long standing customers based in the UK. It was an ideal opportunity to look at an epoxy resin floor installed in 1998. This is the main factory Goods In and Goods Out where they manufacture 1.7m items per day and export 70%. The client used to apply a floor paint every shutdown to keep the area looking ok.

The client wanted a resin floor that would withstand heavy Forklift Traffic, 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. The floor would need to be durable, easy to clean and compliment the very high standards that are set and maintained.

Once the floor had been fully mechanically prepared we selected a 6mm thick epoxy resin floor screed for the area. I’m sure you will agree, they made the correct decision by selecting, firstly an experienced UK resin flooring contractor and secondly, the correct epoxy floor covering.

The estimated lifespan is 12-15 years, however this flooring has plenty of life left in it yet. I cannot see any reason why they will not enjoy anther 10 years. Not one day lost due to a slip, trip or fall in this area. Not one day lost due to the area requiring repainting.

Pharmaceutical Flooring

This epoxy product range is also applied in a minimum of 2 coats and also has the option of a slip-resistant variant. UV stable polyurethane 2 coat system is also available offering increased chemical resistance. Ideal for medium duty locations with an extensive colour range, this product has a life expectancy of 5 – 7 years.

With our in depth knowledge of the food and drink industry, we understand that industrial food grade flooring and adjoining walls need to be hygienic, seamless and able to withstand rigorous cleaning regimes. Chemical attack from food and drink ingredients can be aggressive on floors and walls, however we are able to provide a comprehensive choice of solutions.

Workshop Flooring Solutions
ACC Flooring have over 30 years’ experience installing workshop flooring for many clients throughout the UK. We install resin for your workshop floor using vibrant demarcation to safe guard your employees and site visitors.

Workshop flooring is available in a variety of thicknesses dependent on what your flooring needs. The ultimate product selection that we offer is a FeFRA type 8. Products such as Altro Crete or Resdev Pumadur HF heavy duty polyurethane screed are perfect for work spaces that require hard wearing flooring characteristics. This option comes in thicknesses of 2mm-8/9mm, with a life expectancy of up to 20 years. This product is perfect for durability and chemical resistance.

Automotive Flooring
With downtime for automotive flooring repairs being critical, we offer a product range with excellent impact and abrasion resistance, providing slip resistance of ≥36ptv to BS 7976 in an extensive colour range in matt, silk and gloss finishes. Including high visibility demarcation and line marking around pits, rotary lifts and rolling roads help provide a safe working environment.
