We engaged Michael Mullett in 2020 to modernise a property, build a large 2 storey extension and a double garage.
Right from the beginning of the contract Michael was open, honest, informative and in control. After a year of on-site working, Michael and his excellent team showed themselves to be professional and reliable. I would rate them all very highly. We continue to engage Michael and his team in a number of projects, as do a number friends and neighbours who have seen the quality of work and have contracted them to do the same as a result.
I would have no problem recommending Michael Mullett and his team to anyone

DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER if you are in a hurry. I have been waiting 2 months for a quote, he makes promises that he does not keep, I do not know about work quality because I will not employ him because his word cannot be trusted.

When we moved to the Forest, the house wed purchased needed complete renovation and we hired Michael Mullet and his team to do it. I have nothing but praise for them.
From the electricity to the plumbing, from the floor to the chimney stack and the walls in between, they were marvellous. They also built us an oak framed double garage, oak framed barn and the most beautiful oak porch, all to the highest specification. They renewed all the fencing in the paddock and moved the oil tank. Nothing was too much trouble. But the best bit about Michael is that he insists on leaving the site clean at the end of the day and his whole team is courteous and very pleasant. We are delighted with the work Michael did and have no hesitation in recommending him.

We allowed Michael Mullet access to our grounds to carry out the construction of a neighbours wall. This goodwill gesture saved him a great deal of time and money, as access from the front of this property was extremely limited. Our only stipulation was that he returned the site to to the way it was beforehand. He removed several fence posts cutting them off just above ground level to allow access for his plant. on reinstating the posts he "glued and screwed" a new section of post to the remains of the old ones. When I emailed him to suggest that this was inadequate and that the post should have been dug out and a new one concreted in, he claimed that his repair was stronger than the original post. I consulted a professional builder who agreed that this was not the case. The school will now have to hire a contractor to reinstate the posts correctly and Michael has refused to accept a third party invoice for the repairs.
