We have been in the recycling business for over 100 years and have been at our present site at 'Woodside' Boynton near Bridlington since 1950, where our purpose built waste transfer station and re-cycling centre houses a state of the art de-pollution station authorised by the DVLA. This enables us to safely and legally treat and recycle End of Life Vehicles, and it is also equipped with a 40 tonne weigh bridge and modern processing equipment, ranging from large pre-compression shear that is capable of bailing or shearing a complete car, to smaller bailers and hand shears for the processing of non-ferrous metals.

SCRAP HANDLING
Top prices are always paid for all grades of scrap metal, with immediate cash payment or monthly accounts.
Our 40 tonne electronic weigh bridge and modern scrap handling equipment including cranes equipped with magnets or grabs enables us to handle most grades of scrap metal efficiently and safely.
A large pre-compression shear handles the processing of bulky ferrous metals into products suitable for recycling at steel works, balling light items such as cars etc. and shearing the heavier material.
RECYCLING
A. Brunton is strongly focused on recycling, helping and advising customers to meet recycling targets and objectives whilst reducing volumes of waste going to landfill.
A. Brunton can advise and manage all your recyclable and recoverable waste streams being produced, we can also recommend how to increase volumes being recycled and provide figures on the associated cost savings.
We can collect different recyclables on the same vehicle as all our materials come back to our site in Bridlingtn. This benefits our customers by not having to store up large quantities of a particular material.
