ASBESTOSAFE ® operates throughout mainland UK, the ASBESTOSAFE ® roofing system is unique - this unique system completely, without removal, solves the water ingress problem that corrugated roofs experience following many years of service, at less cost, less fuss and with a quicker installation time compared to alternative systems. ASBESTOSAFE ® is not a liquid or paint on system; it will not peel, delaminate, crack, craze or degenerate due to the atmosphere or sunlight.
A few stats: Its environmentally friendly, its re-use not landfill abuse, no expensive and risky asbestos removal involved, absolutely no need to empty that garage or room – installation involves minimal disturbance, it's Robust, creates a non-fragile, vandal proof surface, will not dent, crease, buckle or more importantly, break or collapse if trespassed, and it does not have perishable fixings. Once applied the system provides a sturdy robust alternative to a corrugated roof. All corrugated roofs are suitable for an ASBESTOSAFE ® roofing system.
Once applied the system provides a maintainable, low maintenance, stronger and durable roof – preventing further deterioration of the corrugated sheets. An ASBESTOSAFE ® roofing system can easily be refurbished when necessary, no need to remove, simply overlay with one or two further high-performance torch-on layers. Unlike alternatives, it also eliminates the condensation problem associated with corrugated roofs, it provides thermal stability (Thermal values – u-46w/m2k) resulting in a longer life span for the roofing membranes and its substructure will not rot or decay, all materials used are impervious to water ingress. Its “Re-use, not landfill abuse”.

ASBESTOSAFE ® is a system for overlaying/waterproofing existing asbestos/cement corrugated profiled roofing sheets. Most profiles can be overlaid and the standard profiles (6 & 3) are readily available, other profiles are subject to manufacture, most at no extra cost. The average top side thickness of Asbestosafe ® is 35mm/ 1¾” which provides stability and strength and as a rule, cuts out the need further costly reinforcement inside. Once an ASBESTOSAFE ® system has been applied; the top surface of the asbestos roof becomes completely encased and rendered safe and stronger. The finished flat insulated surface of the ASBESTOSAFE ® system is then waterproofed with a high performance felt roofing system. The colour of the finished surface is a charcoal grey mineralised slate. There is a choice of 10 and 20 year fully guaranteed company and manufacturers systems.
