CTL

Construction Training London Ltd (CTL) has been established as a Training Provider in the Construction Industry since May 2008. Under the management of Graham Arnold (Centre Manager), CTL have enjoyed a successful first year.

CTL’s main focus in the first year was in the plumbing industry, offering the Technical Certificate 6129 and in some cases the full NVQ2. With the success of the first year behind us, CTL have been looking at new ways to offer the already popular Plumbing Courses as well as adding new and exciting opportunities for training in the Construction Industry.

• All the courses we provide are fully funded
  (Except for a charge for materials and tools - £150)
  [The ITQ Course is exempt from this charge]


• Depending on the course, they can last from 10 weeks up to 36 weeks.


• Qualifications are not always necessary to get onto the courses as all applicants sit a simple assessment test and have an interview before being offered a place.

• City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Basic Plumbing Studies


• NVQ2 in Plumbing (on-site assessment)


• Key Skills Level 2 in Application of number and communication


• Employment or Work Experience to complete full qualification framework



• City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Basic Plumbing Studies – 28 Weeks


• This is the introductory course to plumbing, providing the student with all the underpinning knowledge for the NVQ2.



• City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Electronic Security & Emergency Systems – 30 Weeks


• This Course covers; Intruder Alarm Detection Devices, Installation Techniques, Application of Control Equipment, Control Panels, Detection Devices, System Design and Testing Systems.



• Business Administration (ITQ) City & Guilds Level 2 – 10 Weeks


• This Course covers; making selective use of IT, using IT to exchange information, word processing software, spreadsheet software and presentation software.



• CAA – CSkills Level 2 Diploma in Fitted Interiors – 30 Weeks


• This Course covers; knowledge of building methods and construction technology, measuring quantities, learning how to install fitted furniture, learning how to install basic plumbing.
