Our Gel fireplaces are fuelled by PURE® - clear alcohol based bio gel that burns cleanly giving a beautiful real flame, with no toxic fumes, no smoke and no mess. Bio Ethanol fireplaces are fuelled by our branded BIO FUEL (denatured alcohol) which is derived completely from plants, produces no more emissions than human breath and gives you a naturally burning flame that looks like a gas fire.

Our fireplaces will take the edge out of a cold night without losing any emitted heat through a chimney. They are 100% efficient. Bio Fires are the easiest way to create that warm and romantic atmosphere which only a seductively glowing open fire can offer!

All our fireplaces and burners are open without a glass front, completely flue less, smoke free, and require no gas connection, no installation and no power supply. Gel fires and Bio Ethanol fires produce real, rich yellow and orange flame adding some extra warmth to your room and giving you this magical atmosphere that only a real flame can create.

Gel & Bio Ethanol
At Bio Fires we sell both Gel and Ethanol-fuelled fireplaces. The main difference between them is the fact that they require different types of containers

Performance
Our premium quality PURE® gel fuel burns slower with a rich orange-yellow flame and the containers need to be occasionally cleaned. The intense flame is instant, thick and powerful, flaring with strength of colour.

Bio Ethanol, since it is a pure liquid, will burn faster and cleanly, therefore it requires a container with smaller aperture, and does not require any maintenance. The flame needs about 5-15 minutes to get to its best, as the fuel needs to warm up. Bio Fuel produces slightly thinner flame that is more ''playful'' than gel flame, and will fluctuate more. Once it reaches the right temperature it will have a beautiful orange and yellow colour and it will be full of motion.

Green solution
Both the Bio Gel and Bio Fuel liquids are eco friendly products, as they don’t release any toxins when burning, they do not smell or produce any smoke.

While our PURE® gel is thickened in the factory to slow the burning down, our branded Bio Ethanol Fuel is produced directly from organic waste and is the greenest solution amongst fireplaces.

Modern fireplace with a long line of fire
If you are thinking of building your own fireplace and creating a hole in the wall fire - our Bio Container will be a perfect solution. It is ideal for a house without chimney, can also be used in see-through double sided fireplaces. Made of thick and high grade stainless steel, with special engraved lid preventing the unused fuel form evaporating and a detachable handle for easy extinguishing. Burns up to 4-5 hours per refill.

You can place several containers next to each other to achieve longer line of fire, but it is not advisable to have more than 1,5L of Bio Ethanol in one tank.
