Avoid like the plague!
Arranged for a garden gate fitted for my Elderly Mum, cost £336. The gate is solid and beautifully made. The 2 fitters come took down the old gate and posts put up new posts, put all the fittings on the new gate in the back of the van. When they come to fit it my mum told them they’d put the fittings on the wrong way so the gate would open on the left side not the right as she wanted and wouldn’t able to get her bins out. They carried on with fitting the gate and just said they were really busy and got a lot to do. I complained about the error ,Also the gate didn’t fit flush and was no stain on the top of the posts where they had cut them down.
They arranged to come out and rectify the problems. After they had been and i travelled over to inspect it found the gate was put on the right way but still didn’t fit flush, so rattles when windy, the top of the post still not stained so is bare wood and one of the gate post now has a 7inch crack going up from the bottom where they’ve screwed into which wasn’t there before
Very disappointed won’t use again
