Products
We design, manufacture and install a variety of industrial heavy duty storage products from Storage Racking and Guide Rail Systems to Steel Safety Barriers and Complete Rack Clad Buildings, all made of high-quality heavy duty steel sections and suitable for various storage applications.

Our racks and safety products have a robust design, and are made to last in the most arduous environments. All of our products comply with current British and CE marking standards. We also supply a Certificate of Conformity with each completed project.

All of Wickens products are bespoke and tailored to suit customers' individual requirements, and take account of stock amount, weight and size in relation to the space available, height and lifting restrictions, and we ensure that the most suitable and cost-effective storage solution is offered to every client.

• Cantilever Racking - Wickens Cantilever Racking offers a cost-effective and safe solution for storing various types of long and heavy products. An open-fronted system allows storing infinite and varying length items.


• Heavy Duty Racking - When conventional pallet racking or Structural Pallet Racking cannot cope with heavy loads, Wickens Heavy Duty Racking is an ideal, cost effective and safe storage solution for various types of heavy products. It has a standard pallet racking configuration, yet is capable of carrying far heavier loads of up to 20 tonnes over an 8 meter span.


• Rack Clad Buildings - Wickens designs and manufactures complete Rack Clad Buildings, where Cantilever Racking or Heavy Duty Racking forms the integral structure of the building. This type of building is very popular in warehousing and industrial storage applications due to its cost-effective nature.


• Structural Pallet Racking - Made from hot-rolled structural steel sections, Structural Pallet Racking is a more robust alternative to conventional pallet racking. Structural Pallet Racks are more resistant to forklift truck damage and are generally more durable when used in an external application.


• Vertical Racking - Vertical Racking is a safe and cost-effective system designed to store long products vertically for increased storage capacity and ease of picking. Our Vertical Rack System frames and beams are manufactured from heavy duty steel sections.


• Guide Rail Systems - Guide Rail Systems are used to control forklift truck movement in racking environments whilst maximising the travel speed. Guide Rail is a perfect solution for narrow aisles where space is at a premium and gangway widths need to be kept to a minimum.


• Steel Bollards - Wickens manufacture a range of steel bollards designed to protect warehouse racking, building walls and other valuable items from damage caused by handling machinery. All of our bollards, or protection posts, have a robust fully welded construction for arduous applications.


• Warehouse Safety Barriers - Wickens design and manufacture a range of warehouse safety barriers. However, non-standard barrier heights and finishes are available on request.


• Armco Barriers - Wickens supply a range of standard Armco barriers. However, non-standard barrier heights and finishes are available on request.


• Corner Guards & Column Protectors - A range of Wickens steel Corner Guards and Column Protectors will increase the level of protection for vulnerable pallet racking and, thus, the stock. Column protectors offer a quick and cost-effective solution to hazard prevention on site.
