What Makes Me Different?
Formed in 2009, I am a qualified IPC Training instructor. I have many years of practical experience in the electronics trade, which includes the Aerospace & Defence Industries. I was an IPC Training Officer at General Dynamics UK Ltd for eleven years. I provide IPC standards training, hand soldering skills and ESD training to clients. I offer a comprehensive manufacturing training service to businesses, which is designed to meet quality requirements for their customers. I train clients on their premises to reduce operator/technician downtime and subsistence costs. I deliver a comprehensive theoretical and practical electronic manufacturing training program, tailored to suit the client’s requirements.

Who should become a Certified Specialist?
Any person who is responsible for quality and reliability of electronic assemblies: - i.e. operators, quality supervisors and engineering manufacturing supervisors with assembly responsibilities would all make excellent candidates for training.
Certification
On successful completion of the examination the student will receive the IPC Specialist Certificate. This is valid for 2 years after the course completion date.
About IPC
Since MIL-STD-2000 was cancelled in 1997, the IPC standards have become the only internationally accredited standards available to the ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING industry.
Benefits of IPC Certification
This programme will greatly assist companies dedicated to ISO-9000 or other quality assurance initiatives. As the IPC specification is a widely accepted standard, this will have immediate recognition throughout the electronics industry.
Objective
The IPC Application Specialist training course is to give each candidate the knowledge of the IPC Standard, so that they may apply the Standard within your company.
The content is the quality standard. A detailed study of the standard is then made showing the requirements and classifications.
Scope of knowledge to be gained
Knowledge of IPC Standard for faults and rectification, methods of soldering and quality of finished product.
