About us
J Peiser Wainwright was founded in 1993 by John Peiser, Simon Wainwright and Nicholas Wainwright. John, Simon and Nicholas enjoyed successful careers in the property industry, respectively being the senior partner of Fuller Peiser (now BNP Paribas Real Estate), Associate Partner at St Quintin (now CB Richard Ellis) and working at Taylor Woodrow, Arundell House Securities and Bryant Properties PLC.
The business was established in Grosvenor Street, an area synonymous with the property profession. Over the last 17 years the practice has grown steadily and we have worked with a diverse range of clients.
We were instrumental in the formation of the South Downs Partnership LP, one of the first limited partnerships in the UK, formed to syndicate the acquisition of the £121m Imry portfolio from Barclays Bank. We have also worked for clients such as Canary Wharf Group in connection with Heron Quays West and Land Securities plc in connection with the Victoria Transport Interchange 2.
As a result of the expansion in the range of services provided, the business relocated in 2006 to 20 King Street in the City of London, immediately opposite the Guildhall, where it has remained to this date.
