Sisco Architecture is a practice which provides innovative architectural design solutions to a wide range of private and public clients in the east of England, we can offer full architectural design services to the commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and housing sectors.
Established in St. Ives Cambridgeshire in 2009 by Alison Mottram, Sisco Architecture Ltd. has strong links to local and regional contractors and clients. From feasibility studies to final construction, our team can guide a broad range of projects to a successful conclusion.
We pride ourselves on achieving good architectural design and innovative approaches to our clients specific requirements. Our ethos is to create interesting spaces from uncomplicated architecture.
Simplicity offers benefits on many levels, not only in the construction process, but also in the clarity with which the building can be understood. Whilst architecture has a fundamental responsibility to accommodate it also has a duty to explain and not confuse.
Our aim is to make our buildings straightforward in their organisation. This liking for simplicity does not mean our designs are ill-considered.

WHO WE ARE
Sisco Architecture was started in the beginning of 2009 by Mrs Alison Mottram who had worked during the preceding ten years for a large practice in Cambridge which was one of the UK’s few architectural practices including healthcare in its list of specialities. During her time in Cambridge Alison was fortunate to be project architect for many major multi-million pound hospital projects. It was this experience and interest in healthcare architecture that inspired Alison to set up Sisco in order to develop and build upon the many skills already acquired in the preceding decade.
We take pride in ensuring that all our projects are designed sensitively, to meet our clients’ requirements.
At Sisco our architects have a wealth of experience of managing architectural projects for a diverse selection of client organisations. We pride ourselves in the personal approach we offer to each of our clients and our design philosophy stems from the fundamental requirement to ‘listen’ and take the time necessary to develop the brief.
Using our design and project management skills in the conversion and refurbishment of existing buildings.
At Sisco our architects are not only used to working on new build projects we also have the expertise to provide the designs and support needed for your proposed refurbishment project. This expertise can easily be seen in our new offices in St. Ives where we were able to transform a tired nineteenth century listed office building into modern office suite whilst retaining the original features.
Siscos’ architects have over 20 years experience working in the east of England. Our experience ranges from small scale domestic and school refurbishment projects to much larger scale multi-million pound commercial and healthcare projects.
