Ardent Consulting Engineers was formed in 2005, initially to provide transport, infrastructure planning/engineering and flood risk management advice to the land development and property sector, but have since added noise and vibration and air quality and odour to our raft of services we offer our Clients. We have particular expertise in residential developments, for both greenfield and brownfield sites. Our team works with clients throughout the entire development process, taking schemes from site pre-purchase and due diligence, through the planning application submission to secure consent, and on to detailed design and site supervision during construction.

Infrastructure Planning, Design & Delivery
We provide our clients with a comprehensive infrastructure planning and delivery service, from assessing the viability of potential development sites through to planning, detailed design and delivery.

Risk Analysis for Oil & Chemical Facilities
We provide clients with a comprehensive service to assess and mitigate the risks arising from, and to, oil and petrochemical storage facilities.

Our experienced team of environmental specialists, hydraulic modellers and civil engineers understand how to assess the risks arising from, and to, oil and petrochemical storage facilities. Our tailored service informs MATTE assessments in accordance with industry standard CDOIF guidance, enabling accurate risk analysis and mitigation information to inform site safety reports as required by COMAH regulations.

Expert Witness
We provide Expert Witness and Proof of Evidence services regarding highways, transportation and flooding for clients to support planning appeals, Compulsory Purchase Orders and Local Development Frameworks.
