Cavity Wall Insulation
Cavity Wall Insulation is quick and easy to install. A series of small holes are drilled into the mortar joints on the external brickwork. Glass wool is then blown into the holes until an effective heat seal is formed within the cavity. The majority of work is carried out on the outside of your home with minimal inconvenience to you.

We can insulate homes with different cavity specifications such as hard to treat/narrow cavity and partial fill. A simple survey will establish if cavity wall insulation is suitable for your home. On completion, your home will be more energy efficient, more comfortable, and easier to keep warm.

A 25 year Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) warranty is given on all cavity wall insulation work. CIGA is an independent body set up by the Government. The guarantee covers any defect in materials or workmanship in connection with the installation, which will be rectified without charge. The guarantee remains valid for all subsequent owners of the property.

What Is Cavity Wall Insulation?
Most homes built since the 1920’s have cavity walls, i.e. an inner and an outer ‘skin’ with a gap between them. Filling this gap with insulation material improved the retention of heat on the inside of the property.

We use Whitewool, which is a mineral fibre, to insulate your walls.

How Cavity Wall Insulation Is Installed?
You’ll need a registered installer to fit cavity wall insulation – it’s not a job you can do yourself.

The insulation material is injected through small holes drilled in the exterior brickwork. Once the installation is complete we make good all brickwork, blending in the installation work to retain the look of your property.

Cavity walls are filled with an insulating material; commonly-used materials include mineral wool, polystyrene beads or foam. Insulating cavity walls will help trap heat and prevent warmth from escaping.

A typical installation usually takes less than half a day.

Brick Repointing Services
Gaps in the mortar caused over time by weathering and decay not only look bad but can let in water, which through constant freezing/thawing and subsequent salt deposits can cause long-term damage. The water can get into the cavity itself and start to cause damp problems, especially if you have insulated cavity walls. If you can easily see open joints around the mortar bed, then it is time to think about repointing.

Loft Insulation
We all know heat rises, but we don’t want it escaping as this causes higher fuel bills. A fully insulated loft with a thickness of 300mm can save you up to 25% on heating your home.

Loft Insulation is easily installed by our trained fitters in less than half a day. It will be laid in a criss-cross formation to get the maximum benefit thus ensuring that there are no gaps for the heat to escape.

You will recover any outlay easily within 2-5 years from the savings on your fuel bills. On completion, your home will be more energy efficient, more comfortable, and easier to keep warm.

Ben, Paul and Luke came to our property to remove old inefficient cavity wall insulation and rubble in the cavity and refill with new more modern efficient material.

We cannot see were any bricks were taken out, guys were amazing. I wathced them operate for a while and have to say 10/10 for team work.

this company know there stuff!! i had mould growth which was down to an insulation company insulation north east i think, who had installed our loft insulation wrong and caused blockages in the natural ventilation. it caused the property to sweat and produce black mould. Callum helped me understand what was happening to my property and resolved it the very next day!!!

Firstly, to state how difficult it was to track a good reliable company down, secondly how brilliant they were, really knew what they were talking about and really knew how to resolve me issues with damp.

extracted/removed all insulation allowed cavity to breath for a few days and reinsulated..

Would like to take the time to thank Heatpac for there efforts to help a personal nightmare of mine, cavity wall insulation removal. It had been insulated wrongly in the 90's but the company who did it had gone under. Heatpac called out and removed this old brown insulation and refilled with new white insulation.
