- Applications
Trace Heating can be used to alleviate many of the problems caused by cold weather, it can also be used to maintain constant temperatures in process and food industries. Trace Heating Projects can tailor a solution to your needs, to discuss your needs please contact us. - Frost protection
Freezing (sub-zero) temperatures can cause pipes to freeze, the consequences can be very costly. Here at Trace Heating Projects we have a variety of products to suit your needs, for example Raychem and Chromalox provide an efficient frost protection system using a self-regulating trace heating cable (in addition with suitable control equipment and insulation) which can alleviate your frost protection problems. - Pipeline heating
Many raw materials and products will only remain in a liquid state if they are kept above a specific temperature. Electrical trace heating and thermal insulation provides the solution of maintaining the temperature of a product in a pipe or vessel ensuring that your process pipework and systems deliver your product to the point of delivery at the required temperature. - Frost heave protection
Differences between air temperature and building temperature can cause issues with condensation in large refrigeration units. Here at Trace Heating Projects we can help find a solution to your frost heave protection problems using the latest technology available. - Railway 3rd rail heating
A third rail is a method of providing electric power to a railway train, through a semi-continuous rigid conductor placed alongside or between the rails of a railway track. During periods of cold weather the 3rd rail can become iced over which restricts the flow of electricity from the 3rd rail to the train, this results in the train being unable to move from a stationary position. Trace Heating Projects Design, supply and install self regulating heaters to prevent this happening in cold temperatures. - Pipe freeze protection

Self regulating heating cables prevent snow and ice formation on loading bays, ramps, driveways, external stairs, and other access ways in commercial and residential applications.

Shakespeare’s School Room & Guildhall
The building was constructed in 1420 and originally housed the Guild of the Holy Cross.
However the upper floor of the Guildhall became the main schoolroom at King Edward VI School in 1568 and is now most famed as the place where a young William Shakespeare was taught.
The hall would have been a big part of the playwright’s life, not only being the place he learned, but also the building where his father John Shakespeare, who was one of the first bailiffs of Stratford, governed the town.
The Guildhall may even have been the place where Shakespeare watched his first theatre performance, when the traveling theatre troupes the Queens Men and the Leicester’s Men came to perform. Trace Heating Projects Ltd have proudly completed a project supplying and Installing Raychem’s T2 Blue underfloor heating system.
The project required a heating system that blended in to unique surroundings of
this historical building, Raychem’s T2 blue was the perfect solution. T2 Blue 20 W/m is a floor heating cable with constant power output of 20W/m, it’s a pre-terminated dual conductor heater. The flexible underfloor heating cable was installed directly on to the screed and embedded beneath the original tile stone floor.
Raychem smart thermostats will help to achieve extra low energy consumption.
