Welcome to Unidrape Blinds & Interiors. We specialise in supplying the finest-quality blinds in Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and surrounding areas, and have a fantastic product range for you to choose from. Curtains

Shutters
Our wooden shutters are manufactured from the highest-quality basswood and stained or painted in a variety of colours. Available with slats in 47mm, 63mm, 89mm or 114mm widths to fit any size window to any home in the Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield areas. It was a great experience
I went into Unidrape to buy a blind for my bathroom and ended up buying blinds for 4 of my rooms. It didn’t stop there, when I realised that they could also provide a reupholstery service, so my two settees were done and cushions. Amanda, Neil and Sam were brilliant from measuring, sourcing fabric and fitting it was a great experience. Brilliant to find a gem like this in Welwyn Garden.

I can’t recommend them highly enough
I scoured the high streets for a roller blind for bi fold doors, I didn’t want two blinds. John Lewis , etc., told me that it was impossible but my Architect told me about Unidrape. Amanda in the shop was fantastic in her ideas, views and understanding. They let me take samples home to look at them in the surroundings. Within 3 weeks we had fitted a beautiful single blind that hides away in the ceiling (unidrapes idea!). I can’t recommend Unidrape highly enough. Thank you.

We have a range of universal, neutral and sophisticated but simplistic colour palettes across all our furniture packages with colourful accessory accent pieces also available to include in any package.
Suited to the fast-paced U.K rental market, we can provide a fast turnaround of just 2 weeks*, with one efficient, pre-arranged delivery straight to the door, full assembly and installation of all items & rubbish clearance; making properties ready for rental in one visit. We are experienced with letting agents and building developers, taking the stress of organising access and lead times away from the investor.
Our furniture packages also consider the differing sizes and shapes of properties in the U.K and are aimed to maximise space and potential. For example, the Studio apartments shown in the images have been fully furnished with pieces that allow integration of storage and ease of movement, throughout this smaller space. The world of window dressings and curtains can be vast and overwhelming and selecting the most suitable heading for curtains is an area in which many clients request advice. In this post we have given a short and sweet summary, as a simple guide regarding the different curtain headings available when ordering made to measure curtains.
Pencil Pleat:
Probably the most common pleat as they are neat, practical and work well with both tracks and poles. Pencil pleats also work with virtually all types of curtain fabric, making them extremely flexible. You can choose exactly how high you want the heading to extend above the track or pole – the higher you go, the more luxurious it looks. Pencil pleats work equally well on tracks or hanging from rings on a pole.
Pinch Pleat:
Also known as “French pleats” or “Triple pleats”, pinch pleats give an elegant, classic look that’s perfect for formal rooms. The pleats themselves are usually in groups of three separated by a space which opens up when the curtain is closed. When the curtain is opened the pleats creates neat, clean folds down the fabric. Pinch pleats work equally well on tracks or hanging from rings on a pole.
Goblet Pleat:
Elegant and sophisticated, goblet pleats create a striking look and are ideal for use with longer windows. Choose rich jacquard or tapestry fabrics and combine them with lavish rope ties for a truly luxurious look. Perfect for creating a striking or traditional interior!
Eyelet Heading:
Less formal than pinch pleats, eyelet headings have a contemporary feel. When the curtain is closed they create a soft, curving fold down the fabric and need far less material than other types of pleat. Eyelet headings only work with curtain poles, which should be fitted at least 15cm above the window; for a curtain to operate smoothly with eyelets heading, the pole for the curtains to hang from should be of a 28mm diameter (as eyelet diameter is usually, approximately 40mm); to ensure no friction is created between the pole and eyelet. Our eyelet colour range in the shop includes finish effects such as; Satin Nickel, Nickel Plate, Old Nickel, Clean Gold, Deep Black, Old Brass and Old Copper.
