Cemplas Waterproofing & Concrete Repairs Ltd was formed in 1969, and has grown steadily over 40 plus years and now occupies three floors of offices within Holbrook House in central Croydon.

Turnover back in the early days was circa £3,000 p.a, which grew steadily to £300,000 in the mid eighties, and it was then that current owner and M.D., Tony Blencowe, purchased the business from the original owners. Since then growth and expansion has led to the company turning a recorded £6.5m turnover in 2015.

Cemplas is now drawing on its decades of experience and knowledge within the construction industry to plan the next step of its business life by building on the high quality service for which it has become renowned.


Although Cemplas is known as ''The Waterproofing Company'' Cemplas has a number of divisions undertaking a diverse range of specialist operations, and specialist floor screeding and Resin coatings have been a core part of the business since 1969.

Lying at the heart of the success of Cemplas, and ensuring demand is met and relations maintained is a strong team of Contract managers, site operatives and administration staff, many of whom have at least 15 years service with the company.

Cemplas is unique in providing an unrivalled range of design and implementation services and regularly collaborates with its suppliers and shares its knowledge with many of the UK's leading Architects and Engineers who often rely on its recommendations when designing new structures or refurbishing existing ones to produce the best specification and best practice. Cemplas provides full design support including knowledge and guidance. It is a major part of its business and since the company is independent it is free to provide unbiased advice. Cemplas provides an uncompromising approach to quality of service, and prides itself in knowledge and experience gained since it was formed in 1969.
