About Us Director Ros Piggott was responsible for the set-up and running for five and a half years, of a UKAS Accredited Laboratory based in Norfolk that provided air tightness testing (for compliance with Building Regulation Part L) and sound insulation testing (for compliance with Part E), until the end of November 2011. Ros has since moved on and set-up 'R P Compliance Testing Ltd' with a view to providing a value-for-money service to local developers, architects and the like within the construction industry.

Ros is in the process of registering as a member of BINDT, and applying for UKAS accreditation in the meantime test engineers are trained to the very highest standards as would be required by UKAS under BS17025, which is the Quality Management System that we use along with ISO 9001.

All measuring equipment is purchased from and UKAS calibrated by BSRIA (certificates are always available for inspection on request).


R P Compliance Testing Ltd are members of the British Standards Institute 'BSI' (No. 47432618) and are currently in the process of achieving the ISO 9001 2008 quality management standard with them.

Director Ros Piggott has been an affiliate member of the Institute of Acoustics 'IoA' since June 2007 (No. 43811). We plan to include Sound Insulation Testing in the near future for compliance with Building Regulation Part E, which we will be applying to UKAS for certification for (BS 17025) within the next few months.

All of our measuring equipment used to carry out tests are calibrated to UKAS requirements by BSRIA, UKAS Calibration Laboratory No. 0807.

The business is also a member of the British Measurement & Test Association 'BMTA'.
