23/08/23 emailed same time Huws G. & Travis P. for a best price on materials for extension to the approx value of £600. Travis responded within hours Huws G. no response at all. This is the second time this has happened to the delight of T/P. Huws management need to buck their ideas up or theyll go under. I will say yard staff are extremely efficient at Dolgellau & Twywn. One must shop around even between same firm branches.

awful service - no customer liason, stalling and fobbing me of regarding a refund for damaged goods. I have had to report them to trading standards and will take it further.

I went to buy skirting board at your Southport branch a few weeks ago. Sales desk directed me to the yard to speak to one of the lads, waited for some time outside and was completely ignored , as tradesmen who arrived after me rolled up into the yard and got the immediate attention of one of the lads. felt invisible, so left. It was not busy. Can only conclude as the only female customer that morning, that your staff do not know how to engage with female customers. Review does not allow me to award less than 1 star. Would appreciate a response. BTW went to another local builders merchant who were attentive and friendly. Noted that their signage advertised they were ‘female friendly’. Would appreciate a response from management.
