S.O.A.S. Safety Boats
A well established company with over 25 years' experience in providing boat hire services covering both commercial and leisure sectors. S.O.A.S. provides Safety Boat cover for a range of marine and inland-water civil engineering projects including all major oil and gas construction and maintenance sites on the Milford Haven Waterway.

The wider range of services available from S.O.A.S. includes R.I.B.s and Hard Boats for both commercial and leisure diving support, Personnel Transfer, Survey Work, Event Support, Boat Hire for Media, Video and Filming, Training in Boat Handling.

S.O.A.S. Safety Boats is owned and managed by Brian Dilly (an ex R.N.L.I. Lifeboat coxswain) and son Alex. Brian holds an advanced powerboat certificate as well as diving and first aid qualifications.

Experienced in providing safety cover for major oil and gas construction and maintenance projects along the Milford Haven Waterway he also has a vast wealth of local knowledge acquired from more than 25 years' experience in leading diving groups to the abundance of offshore dive sites along this sometimes unpredictable stretch of the South West Wales coast.

About Us
Safety Boat Cover is not just about a guy sitting in a boat all day at a project. We believe that Boat Crews should be highly skilled and qualified in boat handling, search and rescue techniques and first aid.

Our boat crews are required to be alert, friendly, co-operative and ready to help out. They all hold recognised qualifications and many are members of voluntary organisations such as lifesaving, Yacht, boat and dive clubs. Many own their own boats and are currently or have been R.N.L.I. lifeboat crew members.

Repair Facilities
Boat and Engine repairs and maintenance are carried out in our purpose adapted and newly fitted out workshops in Thornton, MilfordHaven.

S.O.A.S. Safety Boats also has a range of mobile servicing facilities to back up our mobile operations.

S.O.A.S. Safety Boats can also undertake work on customers' boats and engines.

Boats: RIBS
Every boat in our Fleet of R.I.B.s is M.C.A. coded to the appropriate level. They all carry liferafts and a range of safety equipment. All are equipped with V.H.F. Marine Radios and all are fully rigged for night time operations. Two are fitted with lifting eyes for craning onto barges pontoons etc.
