Water Jet Cutting
Waterjet cutting technology is one of the fastest growing major machine tool processes in the world due to its versatility and ease of operation. Manufacturers are realizing that there are virtually no limits to what waterjets are capable of machining.

There are virtually no limits to what waterjets can cut, which is why companies of all kinds and sizes are realizing greater efficiency and productivity by implementing UHP waterjets in their operations. Waterjet cutting technology is one of the fastest growing major machine tool processes in the world due to its versatility and ease of operation.

Materials
Water jet cutting can be used to cut and profile almost any type of material from soft foam to titanium. The supersonic jet of water, forced from the cutting nozzle at pressures up to 4,000 bar (60,000 psi), will cut through 60 mm of stainless steel. The process is computer-guided so hard materials – like marble, ceramic and glass – that are usually difficult to work can be cut into intricate and complex shapes directly from CAD data.
  • Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals
  • Composites, Ceramics and Plastics
  • Stone, Tiles and Glass

Steel Fabrication
At L.G.M our Welding and Fabrication department brings together a unique balance of skills, knowledge and engineering experience to provide a quality service and precision products.

We undertake both domestic and commercial work; from basic welding repair work through to gates, railings and structural steel fabrication.

CAD/CAM Design
CAD/CAM implies that an engineer can use the system both for designing a product and for controlling manufacturing processes. For example, once a design has been produced with the CAD component, the design itself can control the machines that construct the part.
