IDH was incorporated in July 2011 and established to provide specialist Scaffold Design, Formwork Design & general Temporary Works Design consultancy serving Sub-Contractors, Main Contractors and Client developers.

Specialising in this sector, IDH offer dedicated industry experienced professionals who have worked with some of the UK’s largest industry leading companies and have a proven track record in the delivery of highly engineered complex structures.



With a background in Civil & Structural Temporary Works Engineering, our team offers professional Chartered Engineers who can competently assess, define, analyse and design even the most complex and demanding temporary structures.

Scaffold Design IDH Specialise in all aspects of Scaffold Design. With intimate knowledge of industry Codes of Practice and Scaffold Design Standards and guidance documents such as TG20:08, BS5975 & BS EN 1991 our team produce scaffold designs which are efficient, well presented, clear to follow and are design compliant. With intimate product knowledge of Tube and Fitting scaffold design and the leading proprietary scaffolding systems such as Haki, Layher and Cuplok system scaffolds our team can deliver projects efficiently, on-time and cost effectively.

Formwork Design With a background in Formwork Design we have developed a reputation of delivering efficient and clear formwork design in some of the leading industry proprietary systems such as GASS, Titan, Logik, Doka, Topec, Cuplok, MKII and RMD. In addition to proprietary systems we are also specialists in traditional formwork solutions in timber and feature finished structures such as tie patterns, ply layouts and fake features.

Temporary Works Design IDH offer a full design service in almost all traditional Temporary Works Design activities. Due to the very nature of this sector we have worked on a number of schemes and solutions which are as varied as the sites they originated from.

Since establishing IDH we have already gained industry confidence through our professional approach and have worked on some of the largest and most complex temporary structures in London and the Southeast.

To support our professional approach naturally we adopt a comprehensive internal quality control procedure to ensure all designs are prepared, presented, checked and distributed in accordance with industry standards. In addition to this, we embrace CDM and H&S design regulations and have a zero tolerance approach to non-compliancy, poor workmanship and dangerous site installations.
