About DL Building Consultants
'Providing services to the Private, Building and Architectural sectors'
With over 20 years experience working within all sectors of the built environment, holding numerous positions including site joiner, site manager, project manager and building company director, DL Building Consultants was established in 2011 with the sole purpose of providing professional services specifically aimed at both the residential and commercial market .
The intention being the reduction of the overall costs incurred by the client, in relation to the usual professional fees associated within a project.
What We Do
We offer a variety of different services the private, building and architectural sectors within the built environment. These include online estimates, to both the general building contractor and the self-builder alike. A design service producing CAD drawings in regards to both planning applications and building regulations.
We also offer a Project management service on new works, refurbishments and bespoke construction. We can undertake building surveys on all types of property, from Home condition to remedial matters.
With schedule of condition surveys and measured surveys aimed at both the commercial and residential market.

Building Estimates
Specialising in residential estimating to both building contractors and self-builders alike throughout the United Kingdom, DL can accurately take off all types of drawings in DWG, DXF, PDF, Jpeg, and Bitmap and paper format with our tracing software. Our fees are competitively priced in relation to the level of detail included within our estimates.
It is worth mentioning however that the more information provided in relation to your project, the more detailed account of your requirements can be provided. For example the inclusion of such items as site photographs and basic specifications.
Design & Drawings
If you are thinking of extending, converting are even building a property DL are able to offer a design service suited to your needs. We will provide full consultations, site surveys and always work closely with our clients to produce the best possible solution to their requirements. We will take the designs from the feasibility stage to full planning permission (if required) and Buildings Regulations approval.
Project Management
DL specialise in self-build project management on new build, renovations, conversions and extensions. We can oversee your project, dealing with all aspects involved with planning, your design from initial brief through all aspects of programme and procurement.
By using a project manager you will be safe in the knowledge that every effort will be made to ensure that your interests are met effortlessly, that your project shall be delivered on time and on budget.

With experience totalling 20 years within the residential & commercial market, we offer an in-depth knowledge in regards to acquisitions of residential & commercial property. We have dealt with all matters concerning building pathology, from carrying out remedial surveys and associated works, such as damp and timber treatment, to performing structural repairs and alterations to property.
