About Eco-Eye Ltd
Eco-eye started as part of the Modern Moulds Group before becoming a separate company in 2012.
Group Director Trevor Pumphrey has over 30 years experience in plastic mould tooling and product design. He founded Modern Moulds and Tools Ltd in 1982 and quickly established the business as a major supplier of mould tooling to the OEM sector. 1996 saw the introduction of a moulding division, Whistle-stop Plastics Ltd. The Group now employs over 50 staff and continues to supply tooling and moulding to major OEM customers as well as produce a number of in-house products, including Eco-eye.
In 2007, as a result of his interest in energy conservation, Trevor embarked on a major new project and created the first version of Eco-eye. Since then Trevor and the team have continued to develop and enhance the range of Eco-eye products, initially working to DEFRA and OFGEM guidelines. Development has continued to push these boundaries to ensure the company is at the leading edge of technology and development.
Latest developments are a brand new range of Eco-eye products designed for computer integration, one of which incorporates a revolutionary mixed-signal technology in the Eco-eye sensor which eliminates the need for batteries.
Eco-eye is sold in many countries worldwide and has won several awards including the much coveted Which Magazine? 'Best Buy' status. Attention is now focused on cornering North American and Middle Eastern markets whilst the development of a water-saving product and device for gas measurement are both in the final stages.
