Just a quick mention about Price’s Paving in Snape should you be looking at purchasing any tiles, make sure you check each and every box on arrival, hold the driver there until you have (you can hold the driver for 20mins) Michael says so???
Take note that you only have 3 days to tell them about any broken tiles, however you don’t get told this, but it’s on the website.....but that’s no good if you go directly to the showroom and don’t use the website ??
Now the best bit....if you purchase your tiles make sure you buy an extra 10% as advised by the staff, this is is to cover any breakages and cuts, however unlike normal breakages, in this case it’s to cover if any get broken prior to delivery, during transit, and during delivery ???? (verbatim quote from Matthew) nice that I am paying for prices paving to break some, should they do so ???
One major point do not move them from the pallet on delivery unless you have a television crew to film you whilst doing so otherwise it will be suggested that you broke any tiles that are broken ??. Oh I do have CCTV of me moving them???.
Now the even better bit, if there are any broken ones they will only offer to give you back 10% so in my case I ordered 20m sq and Michael kindly worked out that was only three tiles, however my workings out of this is 10% of 20m sq = 2m sq?? and 3 of my tiles were definitely not 2m sq!!!!??
Finally they won’t let you speak to the Manager as Michael states that Mr Price pays his staff to speak on his behalf and therefore we are not worthy of an audience with him, regardless of circumstances.
Don’t ask Michael to pass on a private message to the boss explaining your displeasure in regards a purchase and requesting a phone call back as it won’t happen.
Don’t expect any discretion to be taken even if you have been a loyal customer having purchased a considerable amount of items over the years without a single complaint, oh and shown full support to local businesses during COVID19, it don’t count one bit.
Now I have grumbled enough let this be the end of the story of the “No refund/ replacement corral”
